FAQ
What is asset tokenization?
Asset tokenization is the process by which the ownership of a real estate asset is represented by tokens. The real estate asset is held by a company governed by REDAO foundation whose property ownership is represented by tokens on the blockchain. By holding these tokens, you become the ultimate beneficial owner of the asset itself.
How do I buy asset tokens?
You need to connect your Metamask wallet and acquire the asset token token using USDC. You can reach out to REDAO’s customer service team if you would like to opt for off-chain options.
How do I sell my asset tokens?
REDAO Foundation will be launching REDAO Exchange (REX) in 2023. By the time, token owners can buy or sell their tokens on this secondary market. Alternatively, token holders can redeem USDC using their asset tokens when the real estates are sold.
Can I pledge my token?
REDAO Foundation will launch the loan services after the exchange is set up. Asset token holders can use their property token as collateral to borrow stablecoin from it.
What is a Hunter?
A Hunter is a participator that sources great investment opportunities in their local real estate market. Hunters have to pass the KYC checks and be approved by REDAO token holders before submitting a listing on the REDAO platform. This system will greatly benefit the investors as REDAO is able to pool the resources from a wide network of hunters. For more information of Hunter, check out this link.
